Edmonton vigil marks one year since Quebec City mosque killings

A small group of Edmontonians gathered outside the Alberta legislature late Monday afternoon to commemorate the first anniversary of the fatal Quebec mosque shooting.
Six men — Ibrahima Barry, Azzedine Soufiane, Abdoubaker Thabti, Abdelkrim Hassane, Mamadou Tanou Barry and Khaled Belkacemi — were killed by a gunman inside the Islamic Cultural Centre of Quebec City in 2017. Another 19 people were injured in the attack.
