Edmonton safe despite four killings in nine days, police say

Despite four homicides in nine days, Edmonton is still safe.
That was the message from Edmonton Police Service deputy chief Brian Simpson, who oversees the investigative section, after police confirmed a stabbing death of a man Friday morning in an alley near 118 Avenue and 50 Street was a homicide.
