Edmonton river valley staircase goes up in flame

A wooden staircase at Louise McKinney Park was engulfed in flame and left a blackened ruin.
 
There were no injuries.
 
At about 7 p.m. Saturday, fire rescue, police and peace officers responded to a call from a concerned witness.
