Edmonton police search for escaped convicted killer
Police are searching for a woman serving a life sentence for murder who walked away Saturday from a downtown Edmonton facility.
Staff at Buffalo Sage Wellness House reported that Kecia Spade left the property at about 10:30 p.m., according to a news release from the Correctional Service of Canada.
Spade, 26, is serving a life sentence for second-degree murder.
Inmates must be found to be a low escape risk before being sent to the 12-bed minimum-security wellness house and to pose a low risk
