Edmonton Oilers select rearguard Philip Kemp with final pick, #208 overall

With their last pick in the 2017 NHL Draft, the Edmonton Oilers went back to the blueline, picking big right-shooting defenceman Philip Kemp from the US National Team Development Program. He served as captain of the national U-18 team and was an assistant at the U-18 Worlds, where his team won the gold medal.
