The Edmonton Oilers have loaned Andrej Sekera to Bakersfield in the American Hockey League, prompting CapFriendly to report: “The purpose of such a loan is to determine if a player returning from long term injury is fit to play. The loan may not exceed 6 days & 3 games, but can be extended an additional 2 games if required.
