Edmonton man found dead in ditch in Sturgeon County

An Edmonton man found dead in a ditch on a rural road in Sturgeon County Tuesday has been identified as 27-year-old Kevin Dean Damien Yellowbird.
The exact cause of Yellowbird’s death — who also had ties to the community of Ma-Me-O Beach — has yet to be released following an autopsy, but it is being treated as suspicious, police said Thursday.  
RCMP Major Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Section are now investigating.
