Edmonton man facing 119 charges connected to liquor store robberies

An Edmonton man is facing 119 charges in connection with eight liquor store robberies in the past month, police said Monday.
The 35-year-old was arrested by Edmonton Police Service tactical members at about 9 p.m. Saturday outside a liquor store in the Mayfield Common area in west Edmonton.
The robberies occurred between Aug. 12 and Sept. 15.
