Edmonton man, company sanctioned for breaching security laws

The Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) has sanctioned an Edmonton man and his company for breaching the province’s securities laws.
In a news release Wednesday, the ASC — which is responsible for administering the province’s securities laws — said Robert Carl Stewart and his company Tamarisk Energy Corp. admitted they illegally distributed Tamarisk shares and warrants.
