Edmonton launches design effort for Whyte Avenue/East Edmonton LRT

Edmonton residents can have their say on the alignment for a proposed Whyte Avenue-area and east Edmonton LRT this summer. 
City officials released their public engagement dates Wednesday, hosting open houses this evening, July 20 and July 22. The event this evening is at the Bonnie Doon Community Hall at 9240 93 Street.
Formerly called the Downtown circulator, this central LRT has been pitched as the last piece to create a light rail loop through the most population dense parts of the city
