Edmonton graffiti writer's tags on murals irk arts advocate

Bob Schilf finds graffiti on the walls of Track ‘N Trail, his Whyte Avenue outdoors shop, almost weekly. But never on the mural. 
The mural, of a glowing hand reaching through a void, covers the east wall of the building at 10148 82 Ave. It was painted by San Francisco street artist BIP as part of the 2016 Rust Magic Street Mural Festival.
Now, there’s a black rectangle painted over the thumb, covering a tag sprayed on the mural earlier this month.
