Edmonton Eskimos head coach rewards players with a break from training camp
Turns out there actually is rest for the weary.
The Edmonton Eskimos got a welcome surprise Tuesday when head coach Jason Maas gave them a break from the mid-day heat and wrapped up training camp almost two hours early.
The schedule originally called for a 9:20 a.m. to noon session, but by a little after 10, Maas blew the whistle on practice and told the players to hit the Commonwealth Stadium pool.
