Edmonton Eskimos clinch playoff spot with comeback win

The Edmonton Eskimos have punched their 2017 playoff ticket.
A 30-27 win over the Toronto Argonauts, coupled with a loss by the B.C. Lions in Saturday’s early game, and the Green and Gold assured themselves at least a crossover playoff spot.
At the same time, the Eskimos laid the foundation for another streak by winning their second in a row after losing their previous six, improving to 9-6 after starting the season 7-0.
“The stars aligned,” said Eskimos head coach Jason Maas.
