Edmonton-based tech company releases multi-sport smart helmets with turn lights, impact censors and group chat

An Edmonton-based tech company is hoping its new multi-sport smart helmets could revolutionize everything from cycling to skating and even snowboarding.
Schaefer Innovation and its director Chris Schaefer used this weekend’s Edmonton Motorcycle and ATV show at the Edmonton Expo centre to showcase its new technology.
Schaefer, who just been down in Las Vegas for the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), said the helmets come in two designs, water resistant and waterproof.
