Air traffic controllers in Edmonton helped kickstart a national pizza drive for their American counterparts as a way to show their support during the U.S. government’s partial shutdown.
Canadian air traffic controllers have so far bought hundreds of pizzas for their brothers and sisters south of the border over the past few days after employees at Edmonton’s control centre took up a collection to buy pies for controllers in Anchorage, Alaska.
