Early morning blaze rips through small businesses on Stony Plain Road

Traffic is being redirected around the area of Stony Plain Road and 154 Street in the city’s west because of a fire in a strip mall Monday morning.
Both eastbound and westbound lanes of Stony Plain Road between 154 and 155 Streets are closed as Edmonton Fire Rescue Services tackle the blaze that was first reported at 6:03 a.m.
Fire crews arrived at 6:08 a.m. and there are currently 12 crews on scene.
