On the bad weather front, Edmonton’s Neil Thomas didn’t let persistent rain hold him back taking the three-day Alberta Mid-Amateur after a four-hole playoff with Lacombe’s Tom Mckinlay Jr. at Grande Prairie’s Golf and Country Club.
