Crash on Highway 2 near Morningside closes traffic for hours

Highway 2 near Morningside was closed northbound for hours after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday and Ponoka RCMP and emergency personnel remained on scene until late Sunday morning.
A southbound truck on Highway 2 lost control, crossed the median and hit a northbound semi-tractor around 7:30 p.m., said an RCMP news release sent on Sunday.
An 18-year-old female driving the truck needed to be extracted from the vehicle and was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The d
