Covenant Health warns patients of potential hepatitis exposure

Alberta’s Catholic healthcare organization is warning patients about a potential risk of exposure to hepatitis B and C.
Dr. Owen Heisler, Chief Medical Officer for Covenant Health, will explain details about the possible exposure at a Wednesday morning press conference at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital in south Edmonton.  
Covenant Health in a press release said it is taking steps to “ensure patients are informed and provided with follow-up testing.”
