Connor McDavid accused of "dirty hit." Seriously?!

This in from Boston sports writer Jimmy Murphy: “Crickets coming from the league and the majority of hockey media today regarding that dirty hit by Connor McDavid last night shows the prevailing double-standard around the NHL when it comes to such hits. If a superstar does it, it’s OK, but anyone else, a suspension… If it were him, everyone would be up in arms. Also, practice what you preach no? What if Ekblad was injured? Why does it take an injury for a call or discipline?
