Condos, townhomes hit hardest as Edmonton residential property values dip for third straight year

Most Edmonton homeowners can expect to see a slight decrease in their property value assessments as the residential market dipped for the third straight year, the city announced Wednesday.
The Edmonton market saw a 1.7 per cent decrease in assessed value based on a July 1, 2018 valuation date — but the market value of a typical single-family, detached home remained stagnant at $399,500.
