City crew installing crosswalk near west Edmonton bus crash site

A marked crosswalk is being installed this week near the site where two 13-year-olds were struck by a school bus in early March.
Signs were put up at the location Tuesday and the lines will be painted on the roadway Wednesday, the city said.
“That crews were able to snap into action and get signs up the day after a charge was laid is a good news story in the wake of a tragedy,” Ward 5 Coun. Sarah Hamilton said Tuesday.
