Central Alberta man charged with first-degree murder

A 29-year-old man is facing a first-degree murder charge following the death of a woman in east central Alberta.
Killam RCMP officers found the woman dead inside a home near Galahad, Alta. at about 2 a.m. on Nov. 2, according to a news release from the RCMP.
Officers went to the residence in response to a report of the death, and took a man into custody “without incident”, the release says.
