Carbon monoxide prompts firefighters to evacuate McConachie condominiums
A buildup of carbon monoxide prompted the evacuation of a McConachie-area condominium building Saturday evening.
A frozen vent was to blame for an accumulation of the poisonous gas, which prompted firefighters to tell people to leave 100 suites in the building, said fire department spokeswoman Suzzette Mellado on Saturday night.
