Cappies gala celebrates student excellence in high school arts

High school students sported their finest gowns and snazziest suits Sunday as proud teachers, parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters celebrated the achievements of the 2016-17 season of theatre.
The 10th annual Cappies, held in the Citadel’s Maclab Theatre, awarded the best in marketing and publicity, special effects or technology, hair and makeup, sound, props, lighting, costumes, sets, orchestra, choreography, acting and more.
