Burzak and Launhardt lead way for Huskies in win over Wildcats

Brandt Burzuk got his first chance to show what he could do as the go-to guy in the Edmonton Huskies backfield and didn’t disappoint.
Starting in place of veteran running back Jimmy Airey, the second-year running back led the Huskies attack scoring two touchdowns, one on the ground and one through the air in a 33-0 victory over cross-town rival Edmonton Wildcats Sunday afternoon at Clarke Park.
Burzuk rushed for 63 yards on 15 carries and hauled in six catches for 86 yards in the win.
