Body found 2 metres beneath garage in north Edmonton

The death of a man whose body was discovered buried in a pit about two metres below the concrete floor of a north Edmonton garage is being treated as suspicious, police say. 
Investigators excavated a garage on a residential property near 96 Street and 118 Avenue and discovered the body of an unidentified man on Friday. 
“Typically we expect to find cars and lawnmowers and tools in the garage. Not the deceased remains of a human being,” Edmonton police spokesman Scott Patti
