Blue-green algae health advisories issued for two Alberta lakes

Health advisories were issued Friday warning of blue-green algae blooms found in Wizard Lake, 67 km southwest of Edmonton, and Lessard Lake, 103 km northwest of Edmonton.
Alberta Health Services is advising visitors and residents near the shore to take precautions by avoiding all contact with the blooms and not swimming or wading in any areas where the algae is visible.
