'Bags of human excrement' not enough to kill Accidental Beach

Cloverdale residents were picking “bags of human excrement” off the sidewalks because of the accidental beach, said community league members arguing against any plan to make it permanent Wednesday.
But councillors heard so much support for natural beach formed just beside the Cloverdale neighbourhood last summer, they voted to keep exploring how to keep it anyway. They also pushed for tougher enforcement around nuisance behaviour next summer.
