ASIRT confirms second death in police involved collision

A second person has died after a Monday crash between a car and a stolen truck that had been the subject of a police chase, Alberta’s police watchdog confirmed Wednesday.
In a news release confirming its investigation, Alberta Serious Incident Response Teams said that the woman who had initially survived a crash that killed a male passenger has since died.
