Artists plead with council to make Orange Hub more affordable

A city-owned arts space isn’t affordable for artists, city council’s community and public services committee heard Wednesday.
The Orange Hub — formerly a MacEwan University campus — presently has 19 tenants, with 69 per cent presently leased. The city was in talks with five other potential tenants last December, according to a report that went before committee.
