AMA calls for changes to slow down move over legislation to increase road safety
With the final long weekend of the summer approaching, Jeff Kasbrick wants Alberta drivers to remember to slow down for people working at the roadside.
“It’s already the law to do so,” Kasbrick, a vice-president with the Alberta Motor Association, said Wednesday.
Since 2005, drivers have been required to slow down to 60 km/h and to move over to make room for stopped emergency vehicles, including tow trucks.
