All Edmonton public schools to get Treaty 6, Metis flags

All 205 Edmonton public schools will receive a Treaty 6 flag and Métis Nation flag from the board as a gesture of welcome and recognition, trustees decided.
The public school board also voted at a Tuesday meeting to install two additional flag poles in front of the district’s central office building on Kingsway Avenue to fly the Métis and Treaty 6 flags.
