Alcohol believed to be a factor in fatal hit-and-run in north Edmonton

Police are piecing together the details after a hit-and-run collision lead to the death of a 30-year-old man in north Edmonton.
At around 3:45 p.m. Saturday afternoon police were notified a male suspect driving a silver Ford Freestar minivan in an alley between 97 Street and 101 Street had allegedly struck a blue Dodge Ram 1500 travelling eastbound along 116 Avenue, police said in a Sunday morning press release.
