Alberta to update liquor laws: 'It’s about improving the whole grain-to-glass experience'

Just in time for patio season, this summer will likely see more changes to Alberta’s liquor laws. 
The government and Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission have been working to modernize some of the province’s more archaic liquor laws for the past two years. 
The explosion of the craft beer and distillery industries in particular has resulted in changes to legislation and Finance Minister Joe Ceci told the Edmonton Journal there are more changes coming.
