Alberta heat warning expands to Edmonton area

Edmonton is in for a hot weekend. 
Environment Canada issued numerous heat warnings Thursday across Alberta.
In the Edmonton, St. Albert and Sherwood Park, daily temperatures were expected to reach 30 C in the next few days. Overnight temperatures were expected to be a minimum of 14 C, the agency said.
The heat will last into next week for areas around Red Deer and in southern Alberta.
Environment Canada was advising people to stay out of the sun and drink plenty of water. The agency w
