Alberta economy growing, but unemployment still an issue: ATB

Alberta’s economy is coming out of a two-year downturn, but the province is still challenged by high unemployment, a quarterly update by ATB Financial says.
With West Texas Intermediate oil prices hovering around US$55 per barrel, up about 30 per cent from November 2016, the report released Monday predicts Alberta’s economy will grow by 3.9 per cent this year, in line with other forecasts.
