A 682-tonne oversized load to disrupt Edmonton-area highways this weekend
Highway motorists beware.
Another wide load is being moved along Edmonton-area highways this weekend and travel is expected to be disrupted.
The 682-tonne, 63-metre-long piece of petrochemical equipment, called a de-ethanizer stripper, is moving from Edmonton to the Industrial Heartland in the Fort Saskatchewan area.
The stripper is expected to use highways 14 and 21 over four days, between Jan. 19 and 22.
