Traffic safety and fraud awareness

Elk Valley RCMP would like to remind everyone to be mindful of children on the streets and sidewalks when they return to school after spring break.
Please be mindful and aware of the posted speed limit in school zones of 30 km/h between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
When you see police and emergency vehicle(s) stopped alongside the road that have their emergency equipment activated, please slow down and move over. Motorists must slow their speed to 70 km/h when in an 80 km/h or ove
