Sparwood Lions honour members for dedication

The Sparwood Lions Club May 7 honoured some of its volunteers for their dedication, commitment and community service.
Volunteers are the backbone of any service organization and every community is enriched by their work.
Lion Shelley Ganter Furedi, who is a ‘legacy Lion,’ followed in her father Lion Richard Ganter’s footsteps tonight, and was awarded the prestigious Judge Bryan Stevenson Fellowship Award, which recognizes outstanding Lions and individuals in Canada for communit
