Wray out: Search for new CAO launched

WAWA — The search for a new chief administrative officer is underway in Wawa.
A brief press release issued by Mayor Ron Rody said effective Jan. 23, former CAO Chris Wray and the Municipality of Wawa had “ended their employment relationship.”
“The search for a CAO shall commence immediately,” the release said.
Rody did not immediately return a call from the Sault Star.
The news comes six months after Wray was charged with sexual assault.
