Wonderful summer for gardens, but not dry crops

This summer’s heatwave has been dramatically impacting crop growth across Northeastern Ontario, according to local farmers and gardeners.
Certain crops have been flourishing, while others, namely dry produce like grains and hay, have suffered.
Suzanne Hanna, who runs the community garden in Sault Ste. Marie, said the fruits and vegetables she’s been growing are exceeding all expectation.
