Woman dies in rollover

A Hilton Beach woman died in a single-vehicle collision in the village on St. Joseph Island on Monday.A car, eastbound on Hilton Road, went on the shoulder and swerved back on to the road at about 2:30 p.m., Ontario Provincial Police say. The driver over-corrected, the car swerved again, entered a ditch and rolled twice.Karol Hopper, 58, was dead at the scene. She was wearing a seatbelt.A post-morterm will be done at a date to be announced in Sault Ste. Marie.
