‘What planet were we on?’

It was 1969 when Don and Elayne Jackson headed north in a micro bus to camp and visit a friend who was working in Chapleau.
The Toronto area couple had never ventured past Parry Sound, Ont., so the possibility of a trip such as this ever happening again was likely a very remote one, indeed.
But, as plans and best intensions quite often show us, they can change on a dime and the results are capable of creating a path in life that can be full of surprises. They can also reflect who you really are
