Web series creators seek Sault support

Trish Rainone and Katie Uhlmann are pounding the pavement trying to drum up cash to finance the second season of their online series.Rainone, a Sault Ste. Marie native, and Uhlmann, from Trenton, Ont., are the writers and stars of My Roommate’s an Escort. Eleven episodes were filmed in Toronto for season one.The pair plan to shoot 10 episodes in the Sault next spring.They want to raise $50,000 from business and individual backers in the city to help bankroll their creative project.
