Volunteers sought for new tourism board

City of Sault Ste. Marie seeks board members for a new tourism corporation.
City council passed a resolution on Dec. 2, approving a new model for economic and tourism development in the community. As part of this model, a new nonshare capital tourism organization will be created.
A board of directors will be formed to:
• provide expert insight into the development of tourism strategies;
• recommend strategic plans and annual business plans to city council;
• assess and recommend f
