'Unplanned outage' shuts down Algoma Steel's EAF 

Algoma Steel is investigating an unplanned outage at its Lake Superior Power generating facility and has suspended production at its electric arc furnace. A company press release says one of the Lake Superior Power turbine units detected an abnormal condition and was automatically taken offline. The remaining units were not affected.
