Transit injection of $13.4M mostly will buy buses

All three levels of government have a part in providing $13.4 million for Sault Ste. Marie transit.
Sault Mayor Christian Provenzano, Sault MP Terry Sheehan, and Oakville MPP and parliamentary assistant to the Ontario Minister of Infrastructure Stephen Crawford made the announcement July 27, via teleconference.
About $5.5 million will come from the federal government’s Public Transit Infrastructure Stream, $4.5 million from the province, and another $3.4 million from the City of Sault Ste.
