While enjoying a drink, he met a woman. Fleet, 63, gave her his number, and she joined him at his apartment later on.
Whether the ensuing grift was premeditated or not teeters the story into speculative territory, but the bare facts, according to Fleet, are that the woman stole $40 in cash from his home, as well as his debit card, after he excused himself to use the restroom.
