Teacher excess list ‘a little’ up

Amid furor over changes to education funding by the provincial government, reports emerged that 43 per cent of Algoma District School Board elementary teaching staff have been put on the board’s excess list.
However, Frank Palumbo, superintendent of human resources, said making this list is part of the normal staffing process completed every year.
